The activity of the Board on Books for Young People as a Programme of the
Russian Cultural Foundation - "Literature, Book Culture of Russia and the World - to Children" is
aimed in:
- the consolidation of creative and public forces with the aim to help to preserve, develop and
popularise the values of Russian Literature, Book Culture for Children;
- the organisational and informational support of the IBBY's projects in Russia; the participation
of Russia in the projects and the programmes of IBBY; in the projects and programmes of the IBBY National
Sections;
- the carrying out the Russian projects in the co-operation with the IBBY National Sections, with the
creative, public and professional organizations of Russia, Moscow and St.Petersburg;
- the providing for the informational presence of Russian Literature, Book Culture for Children within
the informational area of the contemporary World's Culture.
